Role & responsibilities

Video

- Edit Reels and short-form content rapid cuts, strong hooks, captions, sound design
- Cut founder-led and UGC-style content talking heads, POV formats, behind-the-scenes that feels authentic, not polished into oblivion
- Edit raw footage from product testers and creators into usable brand assets
- Build D2C ad-style edits optimised for performance hook, problem-solution, CTA
- Add on-brand captions and on-screen text readable on mobile

Design

- Design static social posts — carousels, single-image posts, story templates
- Create product visuals and hero shots for digital and physical use
- Build packaging edits — label updates, PR box creatives, unboxing materials
- Design marketplace visuals — Nykaa, Amazon, Blinkit product cards and A+ content
- Produce ad statics with strong visual hierarchy for performance campaigns
- Maintain brand consistency — typography, colour, spacing, tone — across every output

Both

- Same-day turnarounds — this is a high-frequency content environment
- Work directly with the founding team, no rigid template to execute against — you help define the brand's visual language
- Keep an organised,



versioned asset library

Preferred candidate profile

- 1–3 years of experience across video editing and graphic design, with a portfolio showing both — mandatory, applications without a portfolio won't be considered
- Fluent in DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva
- Strong instinct for what makes a Reel hook and retain — you study content, not just execute briefs
- Comfortable with captions, motion text, and basic colour grading
- Clean, premium aesthetic sensibility — Slayoul is skin-safe and Gen Z, not loud or generic
- Bangalore-based, in-person — this is not a remote role
- Can manage multiple briefs simultaneously without dropping quality
- Comfortable using AI generation tools (Kling, Higgsfield, or similar) as part of daily workflow
