Position Title: Vice President - Engineering

Department: Technology / Product Engineering | Function: Enterprise Engineering Leadership

Role Summary

- We are seeking an accomplished Vice President - Engineering to lead and scale our global engineering organization. The role will be responsible for defining engineering strategy, building world-class product engineering capabilities, driving technology transformation initiatives, and delivering innovative healthcare technology solutions that accelerate Omega Healthcare’s growth agenda.
- The VP Engineering will partner closely with Product, Business, Operations, AI/ML, Data, and Customer Leadership teams to create scalable platforms, automation solutions, and enterprise-grade products that improve operational efficiency, customer outcomes, and business growth.
- This role requires a strategic technology leader with proven experience leading large engineering organizations, delivering complex products/platforms, driving digital transformation, and cultivating high-performing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Engineering Leadership & Strategy

- Define and execute the organization’s engineering vision, strategy, and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Drive innovation through emerging technologies including AI, Machine Learning, GenAI, Intelligent Automation, Cloud, and Data Platforms.
- Establish engineering best practices, governance models, and delivery excellence frameworks.
- Lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives across products, platforms, and enterprise applications.




- Build a culture of innovation, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Product Engineering & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end software product development across multiple product lines and platforms.
- Ensure timely delivery of scalable, secure, high-quality products and solutions.
- Drive platform modernization initiatives using modern architectures, APIs, Cloud-native technologies, and Microservices.
- Establish engineering operating metrics focused on quality, scalability, reliability, and customer success.
- Oversee engineering planning, execution, release management, and production support.

AI, Automation & Technology Transformation

- Champion AI-led product innovation and intelligent automation initiatives.
- Partner with Data Science and AI teams to operationalize AI/ML solutions at scale.
- Drive productivity improvements through automation, GenAI-enabled engineering practices, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that create competitive advantage.

Organizational Leadership

- Build, scale, and mentor high-performing engineering leadership teams.
- Lead Directors, Senior Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Engineering teams, and Delivery leaders.
- Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, capability building, and leadership development.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, learning, and customer centricity.

Stakeholder & Business Partnership

- Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology investments with strategic goals.
- Partner with Product Management teams to define product roadmaps and prioritization.
- Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to understand market needs and emerging trends.
- Present engineering strategy, execution progress, and technology investments to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders when required.

Operational Excellence





- Own engineering budgets, capacity planning, vendor relationships, and resource optimization.
- Drive engineering KPIs related to delivery predictability, quality, customer satisfaction, platform availability, and cost optimization.
- Establish robust security, compliance, risk management, and governance practices.

Required Education & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience

- 18+ years of progressive technology leadership experience with at least 8+ years leading large engineering organizations.
- Proven experience managing 150+ member engineering organizations through multiple layers of leadership.
- Demonstrated success building and scaling enterprise software products and platforms.
- Experience driving digital transformation and modernization programs.
- Solid experience working with global customers and cross-functional leadership teams.
- Prior experience in Healthcare, Healthcare Technology, SaaS Products, Enterprise Software, Analytics, Telecom, Retail, or related domains preferred.
