We are looking for an experienced

Workforce Recruitment & Operations Lead to build, scale, and manage a large database of

US-based freelance annotators supporting an Amazon speech-data/AI program.

Key Responsibilities

- Recruit and onboard several hundred US-based freelance annotators

.

- Build and maintain a high-quality, scalable annotator database.

- Manage testing, qualification, onboarding, certification, and workforce activation

.

- Coordinate

US identity and location verification and support fraud-prevention processes.

- Track workforce availability, capacity, productivity, quality, and assignment status

.

- Manage piece-rate payments based on accepted and approved work.

- Maintain an active bench of qualified annotators for rapid project ramp-ups.

- Monitor performance and quality; remove low performers and continuously replenish the workforce.

- Partner closely with

US Operations, Quality, and Program teams to meet project requirements.

- Develop workforce processes,



dashboards, and reporting to improve scalability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- 6–10+ years of experience in workforce recruitment, operations, crowdsourcing, or vendor management.

- Experience managing large freelance/contractor workforces

, preferably in AI data annotation, transcription, speech, localization, or similar programs.

- Hands-on experience with

US contractor recruitment and workforce management

.

- Strong understanding of high-volume recruitment, qualification testing, onboarding, and certification

.

- Experience with identity verification, fraud prevention, and quality/performance management

.

- Robust analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
