Position Overview The Executive - Outward will be responsible for picking, checking, packing and dispatching automotive parts against customer orders. The role will ensure that the correct parts and quantities are dispatched on time and that all outward records and documents are maintained accurately.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Outward Operations

- Process customer orders for dispatch.
- Pick the required automotive parts from the correct storage locations.
- Check part numbers, descriptions and quantities before dispatch.
- Ensure the correct parts are packed against each customer order.
- Prepare parts for dispatch within the required timelines.
- Ensure all outward transactions are recorded accurately.
- Coordinate with delivery partners for timely dispatch.

Order Checking & Packing

- Verify picked parts against the customer order before packing.
- Check quantities, part numbers and product details.
- Ensure parts are packed properly to prevent damage during transportation.
- Identify wrong, damaged or missing parts before dispatch.
- Recheck the package before handing it over for delivery.

Dispatch & Documentation

- Prepare delivery documents and other dispatch-related records.




- Ensure invoices and required documents are available with the shipment.
- Maintain records of dispatched orders.
- Track pending and completed dispatches.
- Record cancelled, returned or undelivered orders.
- Ensure outward documents are properly maintained.

Inventory Coordination

- Update stock records after outward movement.
- Report stock shortages or differences to the reporting manager.
- Ensure parts picked for dispatch are correctly accounted for.
- Support regular physical stock checks.
- Ensure returned parts are properly received, checked and recorded.

Coordination

- Coordinate with the Sales team regarding customer orders and dispatch requirements.
- Coordinate with Billing for invoices and billing-related requirements.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse team for stock availability.
- Coordinate with delivery partners for dispatch and shipment-related issues.
- Highlight delayed or pending dispatches to the reporting manager.

Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

- Graduate or Diploma in any discipline.

Experience

- 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, outward, dispatch, inventory or logistics operations.
- Experience handling automotive parts will be preferred.

Functional Skills

- Outward and dispatch operations.
- Order picking and packing.
- Stock handling.
- Basic inventory management.
- Documentation and record keeping.
- Basic MS Excel.
- Basic computer skills.
