Role Description This is a full-time, on-site UK Accounting (Year End Finalization) role based in Delhi, India. The role involves preparing and finalizing year-end accounts for UK clients, including reviewing trial balances, posting adjusting and closing journal entries, and ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and firm-specific policies. The team member will work with various accounting software platforms to prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, and manage supporting schedules.

Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial data, resolving discrepancies, coordinating with internal teams or client contacts for missing information, and maintaining accurate documentation.



The role also requires meeting turnaround time and quality benchmarks, following data security protocols, and contributing to process improvement within the year-end accounts function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid finance and analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and support accurate year-end finalization.
- Prior experience in UK accounting, outsourcing, or year-end accounts preparation is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reviewing financial statements, with familiarity with UK accounting and reporting requirements.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with accounting software platforms commonly used in UK practice environments (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Digita, CaseWare, CCH).
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of journal entries (accounting), including adjustments, accruals, and year-end closing entries.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional qualifications (CA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent, completed or pursuing) are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, and the ability to collaborate within a team and with international clients.
