Job OverviewWe are looking for a detailed-oriented and accurate Ultrasound Reporting Data Entry Operator to join our medical diagnostics team at Deepak Hospital, Bhawanigarh. You will be responsible for accurately transcribing, entering, and organizing ultrasound reports and patient data into our hospital management software.
Key Responsibilities
- Report Entry: Transcribe and type doctors' dictations and ultrasound findings accurately into standardized report templates.
- Patient Data Management: Enter and maintain patient demographic details and test records in the hospital system.
- Document Printing & Handover: Print finalized ultrasound reports, verify details, and attach relevant image films before handing them over to patients or medical staff.
- Record Keeping: Maintain neat digital and physical records of daily ultrasound registries for administrative and legal compliance.
- Coordination: Coordinate with radiologists, sonologists, and nursing staff to ensure smooth workflow and quick report delivery.
Qualifications & Key Requirements
- Education: High School (10+2) or Diploma in Computer Applications / Data Entry.
- Typing Speed: Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 30–40 WPM).
- Language Proficiency: Basic to positive understanding of English and Punjabi/Hindi.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic software operation.
- Experience: Prior experience as a medical data entry operator or hospital receptionist is preferred, but freshers with strong typing skills may apply.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in spelling, especially regarding basic medical terms and patient details.
