ABOUT THE ROLE

Plantsship is looking for an AI-driven, highly analytical B2B Business Development & Market Intelligence qualified to build a scalable plant-supply lead-generation system.

This is NOT a social media marketing role.

The primary responsibility is to identify upcoming projects, research the companies involved, find the right decision-makers, generate qualified plant-supply opportunities and build a data-driven business development pipeline.

The ideal candidate should be highly independent and comfortable with AI tools, LinkedIn, online research, data analysis, CRM and automation. The person should also be capable of eventually building and managing a lead-generation team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify upcoming and ongoing projects where significant plant supply may be required.
• Research real estate, hospitality, resorts, commercial, residential, infrastructure and institutional projects.




• Track projects from planning/design stage through execution and plant procurement.
• Identify developers, EPC companies, landscape contractors, landscape consultants and procurement companies.
• Find the actual decision-makers involved in plant procurement.
• Use LinkedIn, Google, project databases, company websites and other digital sources to identify opportunities.
• Use AI tools for project research, lead generation, data analysis, decision-maker identification and automation.
• Build and maintain a structured database of projects, companies, contacts, requirements and opportunities.
• Conduct targeted outreach through LinkedIn, email and phone.
• Generate genuine plant-supply enquiries and BOQs.
• Follow up with prospects and qualify opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings with developers, contractors, consultants and procurement teams.
• Visit project sites when required.
