Job Summary The Transport & Facilities Manager is responsible for the efficient and secure management of the school’s transportation services, infrastructure, facilities, security, housekeeping, and day-to-day operational requirements. The role involves coordinating staff and vendors, ensuring statutory compliance, maintaining safety standards, and providing a clean, secure, and well-maintained environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transport Management

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily school bus operations and transportation services.

- Ensure buses operate safely, punctually, and according to approved routes and schedules.

- Coordinate with bus drivers, attendants, transport vendors, and parents regarding transportation-related matters.

- Monitor bus routes, pickup and drop-off points, and route changes.

- Maintain accurate records of vehicles, drivers, attendants, routes, attendance, and transport-related documentation.

- Ensure all school vehicles have valid permits, insurance, fitness certificates, pollution certificates, and other statutory documents.

- Conduct regular inspections of buses and ensure timely servicing and maintenance.





- Monitor driver and attendant performance and ensure compliance with school safety procedures.

- Address transport-related complaints and resolve issues promptly.

- Implement appropriate procedures for emergencies, breakdowns, accidents, and other transport-related incidents.

1. Facility Management

- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the school campus, including classrooms, offices, laboratories, activity areas, washrooms, corridors, playgrounds, and common areas.

- Ensure the school premises are clean, hygienic, safe, and well-maintained.

- Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, security, gardening, and other support staff.

- Identify maintenance requirements and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.

- Monitor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, civil, HVAC, and other facility-related requirements.

- Ensure timely maintenance of essential equipment and infrastructure.

- Maintain records of maintenance activities, service schedules, warranties, and equipment inventories.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
