Practice: Transfer Pricing – Advisory, Compliance & Litigation

Key Areas of Responsibility

Transfer Pricing Advisory

- Advise clients on domestic and international transfer pricing matters.
- Handle inter-company transactions, benchmarking, pricing methodologies and TP structures.
- Review and advise on transfer pricing documentation and policies.

Transfer Pricing Compliance

- Manage end-to-end TP compliance under Indian tax laws.
- Prepare/review TP documentation, benchmarking studies and regulatory filings.
- Coordinate with clients, finance teams and tax advisors for timely completion of compliance requirements.

Transfer Pricing Litigation & Dispute Resolution

- Handle TP assessments and proceedings before the AO/TPO.
- Prepare submissions, responses, objections and technical positions relating to TP adjustments.
- Assist in matters before DRP, CIT(A), ITAT and other appellate forums.
- Conduct research on judicial precedents,



tax treaties and TP regulations.

Advance Pricing Agreements (APA)

- APA strategy and feasibility assessment
- Preparation and filing of APA applications
- Developing TP positions and economic analysis
- APA submissions and supporting documentation
- Pre-filing consultations and discussions with tax authorities
- Negotiations with APA authorities / CBDT
- Finalization and execution of APAs
- Annual APA compliance and monitoring
- Renewal, modification or revision of APAs
