Travel Consultant

You ll handle international and domestic holiday planning, build strong client relationships, convert leads into bookings, and coordinate with hotels, airlines, and DMC partners. Benchmark Incentive and Leisure Travels is looking for a Travel Consultant who lives and breathes outbound travel - someone who knows the difference between a good itinerary and an unforgettable one, and who can turn a curious enquiry into a confirmed booking.

Youll be the crucial link between our leads and our legacy: converting new enquiries with precision, while keeping our existing clients coming back for their next big trip. If you understand international destinations inside out and have a genuine talent for building trust over a phone call, we want to talk to you.

What Youll Do

- Convert Leads into Journeys - Follow up on enquiries from our website, social media, and travel portals, and turn them into confirmed bookings.
- Nurture Client Relationships - Stay in regular touch with our existing client base to drive repeat business and deliver a personalized experience every time.
- Design End-to-End Itineraries - Plan and execute customized international holiday packages (Schengen, Southeast Asia, Middle East, USA, and more) as well as domestic tours.
- Prepare Accurate Proposals - Put together detailed quotations, itineraries, and travel documentation that are explicit, competitive,



and error-free.
- Elevate Every Deal - Proactively recommend destination alternatives, upgrades, and value-added services that enhance the clients experience and increase deal value.
- Manage Vendor Relationships - Liaise with DMCs, airlines, and hotel partners to negotiate the best rates and ensure flawless on-ground execution.
- Own the Client Journey - Handle pre-departure coordination, address on-trip queries, and follow up post-travel to gather feedback and identify the next opportunity to serve the client.
- Keep Your Database Sharp - Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of enquiries, quotations, and bookings in the CRM for smooth handovers and reporting.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve - Keep track of emerging destinations, visa policy changes, and travel trends to bring fresh, relevant ideas to every client conversation.

What You Bring

- Experience: At least 1 year in a reputed travel agency, handling outbound/international travel.
- Sales Instinct: Confidence on outbound calls and a strong track record converting leads into bookings.
- Destination Expertise: Solid knowledge of global geography, visa processes, and popular international travel circuits.
- Communication: Fluent English, with Kannada or Hindi preferred - and the ability to build genuine trust over the phone.
