We help parents find trained, verified and reliable caregivers for their children. Our services include day nannies, 24×7 nannies, newborn care, governesses and short-term childcare.

Training is a core part of our model.

We want every caregiver joining a Maasi family to understand child safety, hygiene, age-appropriate care, communication and professional conduct.

About the Role

We are looking for a Nanny Trainer who will own the training and readiness of caregivers joining Maasi.

You will conduct training sessions, assess caregivers, identify gaps and ensure that caregivers meet Maasi's standards before they are deployed with families.

The role involves both classroom training and hands-on assessment.

You will work closely with the Operations team to understand common caregiver issues and continuously improve the training programme.

What You Will Do

Caregiver Training

- Conduct training sessions for new caregivers.
- Train caregivers on childcare basics, hygiene, safety and professional conduct.
- Teach age-appropriate childcare practices for newborns, infants and young children.
- Train caregivers on feeding, bathing, sleeping routines, play and basic child engagement.
- Train caregivers on safe handling of children and common childcare situations.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and role plays where required.

Assessment & Certification

- Assess caregivers before and after training.
- Conduct practical assessments to check caregiver readiness.
- Identify knowledge and skill gaps.
- Recommend additional training where required.
- Maintain training and assessment records.
- Ensure only caregivers meeting Maasi standards are cleared for deployment.

Training Content

- Help build and improve caregiver training modules.
- Create straightforward training materials,



checklists and assessments.
- Update training based on feedback from parents and Operations.
- Identify recurring caregiver mistakes and incorporate them into training.

Post-Deployment Support

- Work with Operations to understand issues reported by families.
- Identify whether issues are related to training or caregiver behaviour.
- Conduct refresher training when required.
- Support the Operations team in improving caregiver quality over time.

What We Are Looking For

Experience in childcare, early childhood education, nursing, teaching, caregiver training, hospitality training or a related field.

- Strong understanding of childcare and child safety.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
- Comfortable training groups of caregivers from different backgrounds.
- Patient and clear while teaching practical skills.
- Strong observation and assessment skills.
- Comfortable conducting practical demonstrations.
- Good documentation and process discipline.
- Willing to work closely with the Operations team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

The Person We Want

You should enjoy teaching practical skills.

You should be able to explain something simply, demonstrate it clearly and then assess whether someone can actually do it.

You should be comfortable telling a caregiver:

“You are not ready yet. Let's work on this and assess you again.”

You will be responsible for maintaining a standard, not simply completing training sessions.

- Training-related customer complaints
- Refresher training requirements

The goal Every caregiver deployed through Maasi should be better prepared to care for a child than when they walked through our door.
