Delhi, Cochin and Vapi The Trainer – MISSO Orthopedic Robotics will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for surgeons, clinical teams, hospital staff, and internal employees on the MISSO Orthopedic Robotic System. The role aims to enhance clinical proficiency, ensure effective adoption of the robotic platform, and build strong product and procedural capabilities across customer and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Program Design & Delivery

· Develop and deliver structured training programs on the MISSO Orthopedic Robotic System for surgeons, OT staff, and hospital teams.

· Conduct procedure-specific training covering robot-assisted orthopedic procedures, particularly knee replacement workflows.

· Deliver hands-on, simulation-based, classroom, and virtual training programs for different learner groups.

· Conduct Train-the-Trainer programs for internal TAS and Clinical Applications teams to ensure consistent knowledge transfer.

· Provide on-site training and clinical support during initial procedures and customer onboarding.

2. Internal Employee Training

· Conduct product, application, and procedural training for TAS, Service Engineers, and other relevant internal teams.

· Develop structured learning modules to improve product knowledge, clinical understanding, and field readiness.

· Assess employee competency through practical evaluations, simulations, and knowledge assessments.

· Identify capability gaps and conduct refresher and advanced training programs as required.





· Support onboarding and continuous development programs for new MISSO team members.

3. Content Development & Training Innovation

· Develop and maintain training materials, presentations, procedure guides, simulations, and assessment modules.

· Create practical and easy-to-understand learning content covering system workflow, surgical planning, robotic application, instrumentation, and troubleshooting.

· Continuously update training content based on product enhancements, field feedback, customer requirements, and clinical developments.

· Introduce interactive and simulation-based learning methods to improve trainee engagement and competency.

4. Customer & Cross-functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Clinical Applications, Service, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure effective customer training and product adoption.

· Coordinate with surgeons and hospital stakeholders to understand training requirements and develop appropriate learning interventions.

· Support customer onboarding and ensure users achieve required competency before independent system utilization.

· Gather customer and field feedback and incorporate relevant insights into future training programs.

5. Measurement & Evaluation

· Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA)



for customers and internal teams to identify competency and knowledge gaps.

· Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, practical demonstrations, feedback, and competency evaluations.

· Maintain comprehensive training records, attendance, assessment reports, feedback, and competency trackers.

· Monitor training outcomes and continuously improve training programs based on learner and field feedback.

Qualifications & Experience

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering / Life Sciences / Physiotherapy / Nursing / Allied Medical Field. Master’s degree preferred.

· Experience: 3–8 years of experience in clinical applications, customer training, medical devices, orthopedic robotics, surgical navigation, or related medtech domains.

· Experience in orthopedic procedures, knee replacement, robotic-assisted surgery, or surgical technology will be preferred.

· Prior experience in delivering customer and internal employee training will be an advantage.

· Willingness to travel extensively across India for customer and internal training programs.
