– TGT ENGLISH TEACHER

Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – English

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English to students at the TGT level according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, structured, and student-friendly lesson plans.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and communication skills.
- Conduct regular class tests, assignments, assessments, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of students’ academic performance and attendance.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.
- Encourage participation in debates, elocution, essay writing, reading activities, and other English-language activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ academic progress when required.
- Participate in school events, meetings, training programs, and other academic activities.
- Follow school policies, academic standards, and skilled guidelines.

Eligibility




- Bachelor’s Degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- CTET/TET qualification preferred, where applicable.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.

Experience
- 1–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching ability may also be considered.

- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar and literature.
- Effective classroom management.
- Lesson planning and assessment skills.
- Student-friendly and positive approach.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools is an advantage.

Salary As per school norms and candidate’s qualification & experience.
