We are looking for a Software Test Engineer / QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Automation Testing, API Testing, and SQL/Database Testing. Candidates with strong Banking domain experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Functional, SIT, UAT, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.
- Execute manual and automated test cases and analyze results.
- Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Perform database/backend validation using SQL queries.
- Identify, report, track, and retest defects.
- Participate in defect triage and coordinate with Development and Business teams.
- Ensure proper test coverage and timely completion of testing activities.
Mandatory Skills:
- Banking Domain experience Payments, Transactions, Deposits, Accounts, Customer Management, etc.
- Strong Manual Testing experience.
- Hands-on Automation Testing experience.
- API Testing Postman / REST Assured or equivalent.
- SQL / Database Testing and data validation.
- Valuable knowledge of Test Case Design.
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
Candidate Profile:
- 2+ years of relevant Software Testing / QA experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple testing activities.
