Test Automation Architect Manager (TOSCA & AI)

Experience : 10 to 15 Years The Test Automation Architect Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for defining, architecting, and driving the test automation strategy and implementation across enterprise programs, with a solid focus on TOSCA. This role will lead the design and deployment of robust, scalable test automation frameworks, ensuring efficient and effective quality assurance. Furthermore, the role will strategically explore and integrate AI capabilities to enhance test automation, including intelligent test case generation, defect prediction, and test data management.

This position requires a blend of hands-on test automation expertise, architectural leadership, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder communication, ensuring the continuous improvement and innovation of our test automation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-level test automation frameworks and strategies, primarily leveraging TOSCA.
- Drive the adoption, optimization, and governance of TOSCA across various projects and teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and efficient automated test suites for functional, regression, API, and performance testing.
- Evaluate, select, and integrate various test automation tools and technologies, including AI-driven solutions, into the existing ecosystem.
- Define and implement best practices for test automation, coding standards, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strategically explore and apply AI/ML techniques to enhance test automation, such as intelligent test case optimization, predictive analytics for defect detection, and AI-powered test data generation.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to test automation engineers and teams.
- Collaborate closely with development, product,



and QA teams to ensure testability, identify automation opportunities, and align on quality goals.
- Establish clear metrics and reporting for test automation effectiveness, efficiency, and Return on Investment (ROI), including AI-driven insights where applicable.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, particularly in test automation, AI, and generative AI, advocating for their strategic adoption where beneficial.
- Manage stakeholder communication regarding test automation progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

AI & GenAI Application in Testing Skills:

- Understanding how AI/ML can be applied to optimize test processes, such as intelligent test selection, defect prediction, self-healing automation, and anomaly detection.
- Familiarity with concepts like prompt engineering and RAG pipelines for potentially generating test data, test cases, or test scripts using GenAI.
- Ability to evaluate, integrate, and champion the adoption of AI-driven testing tools and platforms to improve efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation, with at least 3-5 years in an Architect or Lead role.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with TOSCA Testsuite, including deep expertise in TDM, API testing, UI automation, and CI/CD integration.
- 2 years of experience with AI/ML concepts and their application in enhancing test automation, intelligent testing, or quality engineering processes.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing end-to-end test automation strategies for complex enterprise applications.
