- Conduct detailed geological logging of diamond drill core.
- Identify and record lithology, alteration, mineralisation, veining and geological structures.
- Maintain accurate geological records and databases.
- Support geological interpretation and resource development activities.
- Collect and validate geological, geotechnical, metallurgical and density datasets.
- Assist with RC logging activities where required.
- Undertake geological sampling associated with drilling programmes.
- Ensure sample intervals and geological boundaries are correctly identified and recorded
- Support the protected and efficient execution of diamond drilling programmes.
- Liaise with drilling contractors and field personnel.
- Assist with drill programme coordination and scheduling.
- Support collection of downhole geophysical and drilling-related data.
- Assist with resolving geological and operational issues encountered during drilling.
- Support geological interpretation, data analysis and technical studies.
Essential
- Degree qualification in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline.
- Strong practical experience in diamond core logging.
- Experience working on diamond drilling programmes.
- Ability to independently log and interpret diamond drill core.
- Experience with geological sampling and QA/QC procedures.
- Background in mining, exploration or resource development environments.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
- Current manual driver's licence.
- Ability to work on a FIFO roster.
