Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise / Systems Architect to drive the creation of target-state architecture for modern, modular, composable and cloud-native banking platforms.

The architect will partner with domain architects, engineering teams and senior leadership to define current-state, target-state and transition architectures, enabling reuse, resiliency, agility, scalability and customer-centric technology transformation.

The ideal candidate should be able to go broad as well as deep technically, with strong experience across enterprise architecture, solution/application architecture, engineering, software development, cloud modernization and architecture governance.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as an architectural advisor to senior leadership for highly complex business and technical requirements across multiple groups.

- Define and drive architecture strategy, target-state architecture and transition architecture aligned with business objectives.

- Lead resolution of complex enterprise-wide technical and architectural challenges.

- Partner with domain architects to develop modern, scalable and reusable banking platforms.

- Define architecture principles, standards, patterns, policies, methodologies and non-functional requirements.

- Drive the selection and establishment of strategic architecture tools and frameworks.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations that provide operational or competitive advantage.

- Lead enterprise and portfolio-level analysis for technology investment, application rationalization,



consolidation and convergence.

- Challenge and influence domain architecture to ensure alignment with enterprise goals.

- Support data center migration / exit initiatives and analyze application and infrastructure dependencies.

- Drive architecture solutions focused on resiliency, fault tolerance, availability, scalability and performance.

- Provide leadership at architecture councils, review boards and internal/external architecture forums.

- Produce enterprise architecture specifications and documentation using industry-standard modeling languages and tools.

- Work with domain architects to promote adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

- Stay current with technology trends, cloud capabilities and industry best practices.

- Help transform and mature the enterprise architecture practice.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of Architecture experience.

- 7+ years of Engineering experience.

- 7+ years of Software Development experience.

- 7+ years of experience in one or more of:

- Enterprise Architecture

- Solution Architecture

- Application Architecture

- Infrastructure Architecture

- Security Architecture

- 7+ years of experience creating architecture strategies, designs and patterns.

- 2+ years of experience architecting solutions using leading vendor solutions and in-house developed systems.

- Strong experience with enterprise-scale technology transformation.





- Strong understanding of up-to-date application and cloud architecture.

- Excellent communication, analytical, influencing and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred / Desired Qualifications

- Experience in Banking / BFSI / Financial Services.

- Strong knowledge of GCP and/or Azure.

- Experience with cloud modernization and data center exit strategies.

- 3+ years of practical experience with industry architecture standards/frameworks such as:

- BIAN

- BAG

- TOGAF

- Experience with architecture modeling languages:

- ArchiMate

- UML

- BPMN

- Experience with BizzDesign Horizzon.

- Experience leading architecture strategies and roadmaps aligned with business strategy.

- Experience with application consolidation and rationalization.

- Strong understanding of enterprise technology management and application development/support.

- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
