We are looking for an EV Technician to handle the installation, servicing, troubleshooting and maintenance of electric vehicle systems, particularly electric two-wheelers and EV conversion systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Install and assemble EV components such as motor, battery, controller, wiring and electrical components.
- Perform installation and conversion of petrol two-wheelers into electric/hybrid vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues in EVs.
- Check battery performance, voltage, connections and basic BMS-related issues.
- Identify and rectify wiring, motor, controller and charging-related problems.
- Carry out regular servicing, maintenance and repair of EV vehicles.
- Use basic diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Conduct vehicle testing after installation/repair to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow safety procedures while handling lithium batteries and electrical systems.
- Maintain proper records of repairs, replacements and service activities.
- Coordinate with the technical/service team for complex technical issues.
- Ensure the vehicle is delivered after completing the required quality and safety checks.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Electrical, Electronics or related field preferred.
- 6month–3 years of experience in EV / automobile / electrical / two-wheeler service.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can also be considered.
- Basic understanding of battery, motor, controller, wiring and electrical systems.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work hands-on with EV two-wheelers.
- Candidates who have experience with electric scooters or EV conversion will be preferred.
