About The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our team remotely. This is a full-time position designed for a professional who excels in creating clear, comprehensive, and user-friendly technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience working with software products, APIs, and developer tools, and will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that enhances the usability and understanding of our client's technical offerings.

As a Senior Technical Writer, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and customer support teams to gather technical information, ensure accuracy, and keep documentation up to date with evolving product features.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in technical writing within the software or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of API documentation, SDKs, and developer tools.
- Excellent command of English grammar, syntax,



and technical writing standards.
- Experience using documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams across different locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for the following key duties:

- Develop and maintain transparent, concise, and accurate technical documentation for software products, APIs, and developer tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical details, understand product functionalities, and translate complex concepts into accessible documentation.
- Create, update, and manage API documentation, including detailed descriptions of endpoints, parameters, request/response examples, and usage scenarios.
- Maintain version control of documentation to reflect software updates, new features, and releases accurately.
- Conduct regular reviews of documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style and quality standards.
- Assist in the development of user guides,



troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and other technical resources to support end-users and developers.
- Ensure documentation aligns with industry best practices and internal style guidelines.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to stay informed about product developments and provide input on documentation needs.
