Job Summary
"Role Summary:
About 12 years of experience in SAP IBP, the candidate should have experience in at least 3 - 4 full life cycles of project implementation experience in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
A highly experienced SAP IBP SME who can lead implementation, optimization, AMS support, and transition from incumbent vendors. The role requires strong configuration skills across IBP modules and the ability to create Run Books, KEDB(Known Error Database/ITSM), SOPs, and Handover documentation.
Key Responsibilities: SAP IBP Solution Expertise
- Lead and consult with client technical/functional teams to design and invent processes and solutions to optimize performance.
- Ability to lead workshops, gather and document business requirements while working with IBP team to configure requirements.
- Lead configuration across Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP;, Control Tower, Response &
- Supply, RTI.
- Stay up to date on the SAP IBP innovations and functionalities to bring the latest value to the customers.
- Build planning views, templates, analytics, and dashboards.
- Solid knowledge of master data, planning areas, key figures, attributes, planning levels.
Integration
- Manage integration between IBP and S/4HANA/ECC using CI-DS/CPI-DS/RTI.
- Validate data consistency and troubleshooting integration issues.
SME-led Transition
- Take over KT from incumbent vendor with minimal guidance.
- Prepare Run Books, KEDB, SOPs, User Guides, and Handover Docs.
AMS Support
- Deliver issue resolution, enhancements, change requests, and planning operator troubleshooting.
- Drive RCA, preventive actions, and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvements &
- Best Practices
- Introduce accelerators, planning templates, automation, and governance.
Required Skills &
Experience
- 12 years SAP experience, min. 7 years in IBP.
- Two end-to-end IBP implementations.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Good to Have
- APO experience, IBP certifications, APO to IBP migration, knowledge of predictive planning.
- Knowledge on IBP new features, Gen AI, Joule etc.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
