Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Technical Sales Executive with a strong background in narrow web flexographic printing machines and press-floor operations to drive business growth in Bengaluru and the surrounding region.

This role requires someone who can comfortably bridge the gap between technical troubleshooting on the press and commercial deal closing. You will be responsible for validating product performance, running press trials (specifically for UV inks, high-slip whites, shrink applications, and specialty coatings), and securing new high-volume accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Press Support & On-Site Validation:

- Attend directly to customer press floors to set up, troubleshoot, and validate narrow web flexo inks (UV flexo, high-slip shrink whites, coatings, and adhesives).
- Resolve technical issues related to ink viscosity, curing, slip properties, static, and substrate adhesion (BOPP, PET, shrink films, self-adhesive labels) directly on customer machines.

Business Development & Account Acquisition:

- Identify, prospect, and convert narrow web label and shrink sleeve converters across Bengaluru and Karnataka.
- Plan, manage, and execute in office trial runs to successfully prove product superiority over competing ink brands.

Commercial Management:

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and order volumes for repeat monthly business.
- Ensure smooth coordination between customer purchase teams, press operations, and internal supply chain/logistics teams.

Market & Product Insights:





- Gather market intelligence on competitor pricing, technical challenges on converters' floors, and upcoming narrow web flexo demands.
- Provide feedback to R&D; and technical service teams to customize ink formulations according to regional substrate and press demands.

Key Qualifications & Skills

- Hands-on Experience: 3+ years of experience in narrow web flexo printing, either as a Technical Sales Engineer, Printing Technologist, Pressroom Supervisor, or Technical Service Executive within the printing ink / narrow web packaging industry.
- Technical Mastery: Deep operational knowledge of narrow web flexo presses (e.g., Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Gallus, Bobst, OMET) and ink chemistries—specifically UV Flexo inks, high-slip shrink whites (e.g., Solarflex Slalom White), and surface coatings.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to troubleshoot ink-to-press interactions (COF/slip issues, shrink performance, UV lamp output, dot gain, anilox selection) independently on the shop floor.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven track record of converting technical trials into regular, high-volume commercial orders.
- ***Language & Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across regional converter hubs in and around Bengaluru. Fluency in Eng lish and local language skills (Kannada/Tamil/Hindi) are strong advantages. Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.Sc in Printing Technology, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field preferred.***
