Role Summary The Technical Architect will lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise SCM platforms using GitHub, GitLab, and Gerrit .

The role encompasses driving DevOps best practices, platform integration, migration strategies, and governance frameworks, while leveraging strong project management expertise to lead and coordinate distributed teams.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Define SCM architecture and governance model .
- Design and implement GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, and Gerrit solutions .
- Establish:
- Branching strategies
- Code review frameworks
- Access control policies
- Integrate SCM with:
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Artifact repositories (JFrog/Nexus)
- Lead migration programs (SVN/TFS → Git-based platforms).

3. Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

- 10+ years of IT experience with strong DevOps/SCM expertise .
- Hands-on experience in:
- GitHub (Enterprise, Actions)
- GitLab (CI/CD, administration)




- Gerrit (code review & workflows)
- Solid knowledge of:
- Git workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based)
- CI/CD pipeline design
- Experience in large-scale enterprise implementations .

Preferred

- Experience with:
- Jenkins / Automation pipelines
- Terraform / Ansible
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Exposure to code security tools (SonarQube, Snyk, GitHub Advanced Security).
- Experience in migration/transformation projects .
