We deliver advanced SAP Transportation Management, Enterprise Management, and supply chain integration solutions to global businesses.

From our India centre we are building two ambitious in-house products: a consumer mobile application (Android & iOS) and a multi-tenant enterprise ERP platform currently migrating from Laravel/PHP to Node.js.

We are looking for one exceptional Tech Lead - Project Delivery to own delivery of two parallel products and lead a 20-member cross-functional engineering team. This role is equal parts hands-on Full-Stack developer and delivery leader you must be strong at both.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Leadership

- Contribute directly to the codebase features, bug resolution, and architecture decisions
- Lead code reviews across frontend and backend with actionable, meaningful feedback
- Drive technical discussions and engineering decisions at sprint level
- Set and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and documentation discipline
- Oversee and contribute to the Node.js ERP migration alongside PHP defect resolution

Project Delivery & Execution
- Own end-to-end delivery of both products timelines, quality, budget, and scope
- Break all work into time-bound tasks with named owners and clear acceptance criteria
- Run sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives across all five sub-teams
- Track weekly metrics velocity, defect burn-down, environment readiness, sprint completion
- Identify risks early and escalate with proposed solutions not just status updates

Team Leadership & Accountability
- Instil individual ownership and accountability across a 20-member team
- Conduct meaningful 1:1s, performance conversations, and retrospectives
- Build a sprint culture where every commitment has a date and an owner




- Mentor junior and mid-level developers with technical depth and patience
- Conduct code reviews that improve both code quality and the developer

Conflict Management & Communication
- Navigate technical and interpersonal disagreements constructively and fairly
- Build trust across QA, DevOps, Frontend, Backend, and PHP sub-teams
- Communicate technical decisions clearly to engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Surface blockers and risks early with proposed paths forward

Stakeholder & Client Management
- Manage client communication on timelines and product direction with confidence
- Present clear options and recommendations not just updates
- Provide leadership with transparent, honest reporting on progress and risk
- Manage vendor and third-party coordination related to external dependencies

Process & Governance
- Implement and enforce Agile/Scrum practices across all sub-teams
- Own tooling for task tracking and defect management Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
- Own budget management for resourcing, tooling, and third-party costs
- Maintain documentation discipline architecture docs, sprint notes, defect logs, release notes

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

- 8-15 years overall strong hands-on Full-Stack background is non-negotiable
- 3-4 years in a Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or Delivery Manager capacity
- Proven track record managing 15-20 member cross-functional teams

Technical Skills Must Have

Frontend

- React.js, Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR, performance optimization)
- TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+
- Redux / Redux Toolkit, Context API
- Tailwind CSS / Material UI / Ant Design
- Responsive design, frontend performance optimization

Backend
- Node.js, Express.js, Nest.js
- TypeScript on the backend
- RESTful API design validation, versioning, logging, security
- Authentication & Authorization JWT, OAuth 2.0, RBAC

Database
- PostgreSQL / MySQL schema design, normalization, indexing, query optimization
- MongoDB aggregation pipelines, Mongoose
- Redis caching, session management

DevOps
- Docker / Docker Compose




- Git / GitHub / GitLab branching strategy, PR workflows
- AWS EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch
- Linux command line

Testing
- Jest, React Testing Library, Supertest
- Basic E2E Cypress or Playwright

Architecture & System Design
- Scalable system design, microservices awareness
- SOLID principles and design patterns
- Performance optimization and security best practices
- Production debugging trace, isolate, resolve live issues under pressure

Good to Have
- React Native mobile development exposure
- WebSockets / Socket.io real-time features
- AI API integration OpenAI or similar

Professional Skills
- Agile / Scrum sprint planning, backlog grooming, velocity tracking
- Conflict management solution-focused, calm under pressure
- Stakeholder communication direct, clear, client-facing
- Developer mentoring — code reviews that improve people, not just code
- PMP / CSM / PSM preferred; experience counts more than certification

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE — 90 DAYS IN

- Both product streams shipping on a predictable, consistent cadence
- Dev, QA, and Prod environments live with full CI/CD pipelines operational
- ERP defect backlog in clean burn-down; Node.js migration progressing without conflict
- Every sprint commitment has a real date, a named owner, and early risk visibility
- Client communication is proactive — options on the table, never reactive
- The team operates with individual ownership and open communication as the standard
