Team Member – South Indian Restaurant

Job Summary

We are hiring energetic and hardworking team members for our front-of-house team. You will be taking orders, serving meals promptly, keeping the dining room and kitchen tidy, and providing high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional guest service by providing warm welcomes, taking and relaying orders to staff, and serving meals promptly. Ask guests about their order preferences and special needs and keep them updated on the status of their orders
- Be well-versed in the menu and mix and match options, so you can advise guests on what to order and keep them informed of any menu changes
- Ensure tables are cleared promptly and the dining and service areas are clean and tidy
- Operate the POS machine to enter and process orders and collect payments from cash or digital sources




- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure that meals are ready and correctly prepared and deliver them hot to the dining room
- Maintain food and personal safety as per the standard operating procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in a south Indian restaurant, quick-service restaurant (QSR), or a cafe is preferred but not mandatory (open to freshers)
- Ability to deliver high-quality service in a high-density environment during breakfast, lunch, dinner rushes
- Friendliness and basic language skills (good command of English or Hindi) to effectively communicate with guests
- Flexibility and reliability with punctuality to work weekends and holidays

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
