Job Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor high-speed aluminium can manufacturing machines (Body Maker, Cupper, Trimmer, Washer, Decorator, Necking, Flanger).
- Ensure smooth machine operation as per SOP and production plan.
- Load raw materials (aluminium coils / cups) and monitor output quality.
- Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities.
- Check critical quality parameters like can height, diameter, wall thickness, coating quality, and print defects.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, and vision systems.
- Identify machine abnormalities and carry out minor troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production, rejection,



and downtime records.
- Follow GMP, food safety standards, safety norms, and 5S practices.
- Ensure compliance with CANPACK quality standards and customer requirements.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

- Experience in aluminium can / beverage can manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of high-speed production lines and automation.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Awareness of food-grade packaging quality and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts.
