Role Description The Team Lead is a full-time, in office role based in Vishakhapatnam. This position is responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary team in planning, executing, and monitoring consulting projects in areas such as urban development, social inclusion, health systems, and technology initiatives.

Day-to-day work includes coordinating project tasks, setting priorities and timelines, reviewing research and analysis, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and organizational standards.

The Team

Lead will liaise with government officials, partner organizations, and stakeholders, prepare reports and presentations, and facilitate meetings and workshops. This role also involves mentoring team members,



managing project risks, and contributing to business development through proposal writing and strategic input.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to delegate, motivate, and mentor team members.
- Experience in project management, with proven ability to plan, execute, and monitor complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Background in one or more relevant domains such as Urban Planning, Public Policy, Social Development, Health, or Information Technology.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data-driven decision-making and policy analysis.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, proposals, and stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies, NGOs, development partners, and private sector organizations.
- Comfort working on-site and engaging directly with local communities and field-level stakeholders in Vishakhapatnam.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Planning, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Public Health, Management, or related fields.
- Prior consulting or program management experience in India, especially in urban or community-focused projects, is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and ethical, non-discriminatory practices in team and stakeholder engagement.
