Role Overview The Intern will support the pilot program by facilitating the learning space, assisting in setting up the environment, and performing various essential tasks to ensure smooth operation. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in educational settings and contribute to an innovative learning model.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitate Learning Environment:
- Teach small groups of students in English and Math through structured lessons.
- Utilize engaging and interactive teaching methods to prevent summer learning loss.
- Assist students in using educational tools, worksheets, and activities.
- Provide personalized support to students who need additional help.
1. Running After School Operations:
- Work under the Centre Head and Program Director to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Help design and lead fun and educational activities.
- Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment.
- Track student attendance and learning progress.
1. Data & Reporting:
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Support in maintaining records of student work and engagement.
- Document key learnings and reflections from the summer school experience.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree.
- Enthusiastic about working in an educational setting and supporting creative learning models.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic proficiency in using technology and educational tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and take direction well.
