About the Role The role involves preparing and reviewing U.S. Individual Tax Returns and related schedules, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations, and supporting clients through various tax-related processes.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and review U.S. Individual Tax Returns (Form 1040) and related schedules, including state and local returns.
- Prepare business tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120S.
- Prepare tax extensions, amended returns, and estimated tax calculations.
- Review and analyze client source documents, including W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, and brokerage statements, to ensure accurate tax return preparation.
- Maintain accurate tax workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and firm quality standards.
- Assist with IRS notices, correspondence, and audit support.
- Meet tight deadlines and manage workload effectively, including during peak tax season.
- Support tax updates, regulatory changes, and internal content updates,



including validation and approvals.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement approved tax changes in systems.
- Execute and support tasks related to automated processes, including testing, validation, and exception handling.
- Train, guide, and mentor team members through knowledge sharing, process walkthroughs, and quality reviews.
- Adhere to internal quality standards, data security, and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Required Skills

- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in U.S. tax preparation.
- Strong understanding of IRS tax codes and filing procedures.
- Experience with at least one tax software such as MyTaxPrepOffice, ProSeries, Drake, UltraTax, Lacerte, or TurboTax Professional.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of FATCA, FBAR, and foreign income reporting.

1 PM to 10 PM/ 2 PM to 11 PM/ 3 PM to 12 AM
