Job Details:

Position: Tableau Developer

Location: Remote

Experience Required: 2–3 Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations.

- Create advanced Tableau calculations using LOD expressions, table calculations, calculated fields, parameters, sets, and dashboard actions.

- Develop dashboards using Tableau Desktop and publish and manage content through Tableau Server.

- Configure Tableau Server permissions, subscriptions, extract refreshes, and schedules.

- Optimize dashboard performance by improving calculations, filters, extracts, data connections, and workbook design.

- Write and optimize complex SQL and T-SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and translate reporting needs into scalable Tableau solutions.

- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure dashboard accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

- Present dashboard insights and actionable recommendations during business review meetings.

Must Have:

- 2+ years of qualified experience in Tableau development or business intelligence.





- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.

- Advanced expertise in FIXED, INCLUDE, and EXCLUDE LOD expressions.

- Strong experience with table calculations, calculated fields, parameters, sets, filters, and dashboard actions.

- Intermediate to advanced SQL/T-SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and query optimization.

- Experience publishing workbooks, managing data sources, and scheduling extract refreshes on Tableau Server.

- Strong understanding of dashboard-performance optimization and data-visualization best practices.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Background:

- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

- Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources.

- Experience with advanced Excel and executive-level PowerPoint presentations.

- Experience supporting Fortune 500 companies or top-tier consulting organizations is preferred.
