Job Description
Analyse clients' needs and develop designs as per requirements Conceptualise and model furniture using softwares such as Auto Cad, Sketch Up, Solid Works etc. Create visual furniture layouts & mood boards for clients Coordinate with the operations team and carpenters to ensure all furniture designs are in keeping with company standards and regulations Coordinate with architects and contractors to ensure all designs are accurate and feasible Assist in ideation and prototyping of in-house furniture collections Skills we're looking for
Proficiency in Auto CAD is a must (Sketch Up, Rhino, or Fusion 360 are a bonus) Eye for design, proportion, detailing, and materials Solid understanding of furniture construction methods & ergonomics Clear communicator, proactive, and willing to take ownership Undergrad in furniture design, interior design or a related field A working knowledge of furniture ergonomics & joinery This is a part-time / contractual / free-lance role
