Job Summary

Valcore Foods is an cutting-edge food processing company focused on manufacturing ingredients for leading FMCG companies in India and international markets.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Executive with experience in the food processing industry to support demand and supply planning, procurement, logistics, customer coordination, and supply-chain operations.

The ideal candidate is someone who is analytical, inquisitive, organised, and commercially aware, and is equally comfortable with the day-to-day execution required in a manufacturing business. The role involves close coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure efficient planning, procurement, production, and fulfilment of customer requirements and overall customer relationship management.

Candidates with prior experience in the food and beverage industry will be strongly preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Demand & Supply Planning

- Analyse customer forecasts, purchase orders, and historical data to assist in demand and supply planning.
- Monitor order status, material availability, and production schedules to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Identify potential supply constraints or delays and communicate them proactively to the relevant teams.

2. Customer & Key Account Coordination

- Coordinate with domestic and international customers regarding forecasts, delivery schedules, documentation, and other supply-related requirements.
- Act as a bridge between Production, Quality, Procurement, Logistics, and Accounts teams.
- Monitor order execution and resolution of operational issues.
- Support management in maintaining and developing long-term relationships with key accounts.

3. Procurement & Supplier Coordination

- Monitor materials availability, pricing trends, supplier lead times, quotations, commercial terms, and negotiations.




- Identify potential new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
- Maintain procurement-related data and supplier performance records.

4. Shipping, Logistics and Documentation

- Coordinate domestic and export shipments with customers, transporters, freight forwarders, and other service providers.
- Prepare and/or coordinate shipping and commercial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and documentation requirements related to shipments.

5. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, and Accounts to ensure smooth execution of operations.
- Help resolve bottlenecks affecting production or customer deliveries.
- Ensure relevant information is communicated accurately and on time between departments.

6. Market Intelligence & Research

- Research raw-material markets, suppliers, customers, competitors, and relevant industry developments.
- Collect and analyse market data to support procurement and supply-chain decisions.
- Track commodity/raw-material pricing and supply trends relevant to the company's operations.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably within food processing, food ingredients, FMCG, or a related manufacturing industry.
- Excellent written and spoken English is essential, as the position involves regular communication with domestic and international customers and suppliers.
- Previous experience dealing with B2B customers in the food processing or food ingredients industry (preferred)
- Exposure to export documentation, international shipping, and logistics.
- Experience in demand planning, procurement, or production planning within a manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
