Role Description The Subject Matter Expert – Data Science (2 yrs) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The role involves designing and delivering data science and analytics content for students, including creating learning materials, assignments, and assessments. The expert will explain complex concepts in a explicit, structured way, support learners through doubt clarification sessions, and provide feedback on their progress.

Daily tasks include reviewing and updating curriculum to align with current industry practices,



preparing case studies and projects, and collaborating with other trainers and content teams to ensure consistent quality. The role may also involve conducting workshops, recording sessions, and participating in curriculum planning for new programs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Data Science and Data Analytics skills, with practical exposure to real-world problem solving.
- Candidates should possess solid Statistics and Data Analysis skills to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.
- Candidates should possess excellent Analytical Skills to break down complex problems and communicate solutions clearly.
- Relevant experience in teaching, training, or mentoring learners in technical subjects is beneficial.
- Familiarity with common data science tools or languages (such as Python, R, SQL, or visualization tools) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related disciplines is preferred.
