Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Student Counsellor to guide students who are planning to pursue higher education abroad. The candidate will understand students’ academic backgrounds and career goals and assist them in selecting suitable courses, universities, and study destinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students and parents regarding study-abroad opportunities.
- Understand students’ academic profiles, career interests, and future goals.
- Guide students in selecting suitable countries, courses, and universities.
- Explain admission requirements, eligibility criteria, intakes, and application procedures.
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Assist students with application documentation and coordinate with the processing team.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, counselling sessions, follow-ups, and applications.
- Work towards assigned counselling and admission targets.
- Stay updated on university programs, admission requirements,



scholarships, and study-abroad trends.
- Build strong and professional relationships with students and parents.
- Ensure a smooth and positive student experience throughout the admission process.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good counselling, convincing, and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and computer applications.
- Ability to handle multiple student enquiries and follow-ups.
- Previous experience in student counselling, education consultancy, or study-abroad counselling is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.
