Role Description The Structural Design Engineer will work on the analysis and design of steel and civil structures for industrial projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing structural calculations, creating and reviewing CAD and AutoCAD drawings, coordinating with fabrication and erection teams, and resolving design-related issues during execution.
The role involves collaborating with project managers and site engineers to integrate structural designs with roofing and civil works, and supporting quality checks and documentation.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Coimbatore, with a combination of on-site office work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering for steel and civil structures.
- Background in Civil Engineering with knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and AutoCAD for structural detailing and drawings.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with fabrication and erection teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple project tasks.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordination with cross-functional project stakeholders.
- Experience with industrial or steel building projects is an advantage.
