Hazard Identification: Conduct risk assessments based on monitoring data to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Reporting: Report findings and recommendations to mine management to inform safety decisions and actions.
Compliance:
Regulation Adherence: Ensure all monitoring activities comply with safety regulations such as the "Coal Mines Regulations, 2017," and "Metalliferous Mines Regulations, 1961."
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of monitoring data and assessments to track trends and ensure compliance.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field is required. This educational background provides the fundamental knowledge of earth sciences necessary for understanding and analyzing geological formations.
Advanced Degrees: Master’s degree or higher in Geology or Geotechnical Engineering can be advantageous, offering deeper expertise and specialization.
