Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Stores Manager role based in Tiruvallur.

The Stores

Manager will oversee the receipt, storage, and issue of materials, ensuring accurate inventory records and adherence to organizational procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock registers, conducting regular stock audits, coordinating with procurement and project teams for material requirements, and monitoring reorder levels to prevent shortages or excess. The role also involves implementing and improving store management systems,



ensuring proper labeling and protected storage, and preparing periodic reports on stock movement and consumption.

The Stores

Manager will work closely with finance and administration to support budgeting, compliance, and efficient resource utilization in line with Sevalaya’s mission.

Qualifications

- Strong inventory management and storekeeping skills, including stock tracking, documentation, and audit support.
- Ability to use basic computer applications and inventory or ERP software for data entry, reporting, and record maintenance.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials and records.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively with procurement, finance, project teams, and external vendors.
- Understanding of basic accounting and logistics concepts related to materials handling, storage, and distribution.
- Experience in store or warehouse management in NGOs, social sector, manufacturing, or similar environments is an advantage.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and commitment to Sevalaya’s values of service and social development.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field preferred
