Job Objective To manage the day-to-day stores operations including material receipt, inspection coordination, storage, inventory control, material issue, stock records and project-wise material tracking, ensuring materials are available at the right time and in the right quantity.

Key Responsibilities1. Material Receipt & Documentation

- Receive incoming materials from suppliers and vendors.
- Verify materials against Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Challans (DC), invoices and material specifications.
- Coordinate with Quality/Engineering teams for incoming material inspection.
- Prepare and maintain Material Receipt Notes (MRN/GRN).
- Report shortages, damages or discrepancies to Purchase and Management.

1. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate physical and ERP inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and identify minimum / maximum / reorder levels.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Maintain proper identification, tagging and location of materials.
- Ensure proper FIFO practices wherever applicable.
- Prevent material damage, deterioration, misplacement and excess inventory.

1. Material Issue & Project Support

- Issue materials based on approved Material Requisition / Issue Slips.
- Maintain proper records for all material issues and returns.
- Track materials project-wise / department-wise.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Projects, Purchase and Engineering teams for material requirements.
- Ensure urgent project materials are made available on time.

1. ERP & Documentation

- Update material receipts, issues, returns and stock transfers in the ERP system.




- Maintain accurate stock registers, bin cards and material movement records.
- Generate inventory and stock-related reports as required.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes.
- Ensure timely closure of pending GRNs/MRNs and material-related transactions.

1. Warehouse & 5S Management

- Maintain stores according to 5S standards.
- Ensure proper material segregation and systematic storage.
- Maintain clear identification of bins, racks and storage locations.
- Ensure protected handling and movement of materials.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within the stores area.
- Stock Audit & Control
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical inventory verification.
- Investigate stock differences and submit reconciliation reports.
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete and excess materials.
- Support internal and customer audits related to material control.
- Maintain proper records for rejected, returned and scrap materials.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Stores & Inventory Management.
- Experience in ERP-based inventory transactions.
- Good knowledge of GRN/MRN, Material Issue, Material Return, Stock Transfer and Stock Reconciliation.
- Basic knowledge of engineering and manufacturing materials.
- Good MS Excel knowledge.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project material requirements.
- Good documentation and record-maintenance skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, FIFO and inventory control practices.

Educational Qualification : Any degree Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
