We are looking for a Purchase Assistant to support our Purchase Department in day-to-day procurement activities. The candidate will assist in vendor coordination, quotation collection, purchase documentation, material follow-up, and coordination with Production, Stores, Quality and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
- Source materials and components from approved vendors.
- Contact vendors for quotations, prices, availability and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and maintain Purchase Orders (POs), quotation comparisons and purchase-related documents.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Stores regarding material receipt and pending materials.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details and procurement documents.
- Assist in price comparison and basic price negotiation with vendors.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores and Quality departments for material requirements.
- Follow up on pending purchase orders and delayed deliveries.
- Assist in procurement of pump manufacturing components such as castings, forgings, shafts, impellers,



bearings, mechanical seals, gaskets, fasteners, couplings, motors and other engineering materials.
- Support the Purchase Executive / Purchase Manager in daily procurement activities.
- Perform other purchase-related tasks as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements
- Graduate / Diploma / ITI / relevant qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement or Engineering/Manufacturing Industry.
- Freshers with basic knowledge of engineering materials may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office and purchase documentation.
- Valuable communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to follow up regularly and maintain proper records.
- Knowledge of engineering/pump components will be an added advantage.
