We will be required store incharge for the MPL ADANI Project. he wil be stationed at MPL and take care of all the store activity like material inward, Material Entry, Invetory, Store & Invetory mgt , material issue etc.

Position: Store Incharge

Location: Mundra Site (Gujarat)

Department: Project – Electrical & Instrumentation

Reporting To: Project Manager / Site Head

1. Role Overview

The Store Incharge will be responsible for overall store management at site, ensuring proper receipt, storage, handling, and issuance of all Electrical & Instrumentation materials required for project execution. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring material availability, and supporting smooth project progress.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Material Receipt & Inspection

- Receive materials at site as per Purchase Orders and Delivery Challans
- Verify quantity, specifications, and physical condition of materials
- Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspection and approval
- Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) records

B. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records (manual + ERP/system)
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels
- Ensure availability of critical materials to avoid project delays
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation

C. Storage & Handling

- Ensure proper storage of E&I; materials such as:
- Cables, cable trays, conduits
- Instruments, panels, junction boxes
- Consumables (lugs, glands, ferrules, etc.)

- Implement safe storage practices to prevent damage, moisture, or theft
- Maintain proper tagging and identification of materials

D. Material Issue & Tracking

- Issue materials against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS)
- Track consumption of materials department-wise / activity-wise
- Maintain proper documentation of all inward and outward movements

E. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain all store-related documents:
- GRN, MRS, Stock Register,



Gate Entry

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports
- Highlight shortages, excess stock, and slow-moving items

F. Coordination

- Coordinate with:
- Procurement team (for pending materials)
- Site engineers (for material planning)
- Vendors and transporters (for deliveries)

G. Compliance & Safety

- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in store area
- Implement FIFO / FEFO practices wherever applicable

3. Key Skills & Competencies

- Solid knowledge of E&I; materials used in EPC projects
- Inventory management and documentation skills
- Basic ERP / Excel proficiency
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accountability

4. Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / Graduate in Engineering or Commerce
- 5–10 years experience in store handling for EPC / industrial projects
- Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation projects preferred
- Exposure to large project sites (power plant, refinery, etc.) is an advantage

5. Additional Requirements

- Ability to work at remote site location (Mundra)
- Knowledge of material coding and inventory systems
- Familiarity with audit and compliance requirements

- Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation materials, including:
- Cables, cable trays, conduits
- Panels, switchgear, junction boxes
- Field instruments, valves, transmitters
- Consumables (lugs, glands, ferrules, etc.)

- Understanding of material specifications, BOQ, and drawings
- Knowledge of material preservation and handling practices

2. Inventory & Store Management

- Expertise in inventory control techniques (FIFO, FEFO)
- Stock planning and minimum/maximum level management
- Experience in GRN, MRS, stock reconciliation
- Ability to handle bulk materials for EPC projects

- Proficiency in MS Excel (must)
