Job Title : STLA 1 -Author mechanical repair

Experience : 6 to 8 years

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days

Location : Pune

Required Skills:-

1. Develop and author mechanical repair procedures for engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, cooling, HVAC, and chassis systems for recent vehicle programs.
2. Create detailed service documentation including repair manuals, maintenance procedures, workshop instructions, and new vehicle preparation methods.
3. Validate repair methods through hands-on trials on prototype, pilot, and production vehicles to ensure accuracy, safety, and repair feasibility.
4. Define repair sequences, special tool requirements, torque specifications, consumables, and quality checkpoints for all service operations.
5.



Participate in vehicle serviceability reviews and provide design improvement recommendations to enhance repair accessibility and workshop efficiency.
6. Coordinate with Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Diagnostics, and Training teams to ensure aftersales readiness before vehicle launch.
7. Support technical publication activities and ensure timely release of repair and maintenance information to the dealer network.
8. Analyze field feedback, warranty concerns, and technical escalations to update and continuously improve repair methods.
