About the Role

We are looking for a Stitching & Finish Product Sourcing Manager to build and manage a reliable network of external stitching and finishing units across Mumbai.

This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for outsourced stitching, finishing, ironing, packing and allied job work, ensuring delivery across quality, cost, capacity, timelines and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, visit and evaluate stitching and finishing vendors based on machinery, skills, capacity, infrastructure and past experience.
- Build and maintain an Approved Vendor List with vendor capabilities, capacity and rates.
- Coordinate vendor audits, compliance/social audits, trial orders and final onboarding.
- Negotiate rates and ensure job-work agreements and POs are in place.
- Ensure correct job-work documentation including delivery challans, e-way bills and GST records.
- Plan and allocate production across vendors based on capacity, capability, quality and timelines.
- Regularly visit vendor units and follow up on production, delivery and delays.
- Coordinate material movement with Stores, Logistics, Sourcing and Production teams and ensure material/wastage reconciliation.
- Work with Quality to maintain stitching and finishing standards, identify recurring defects and drive corrective action.




- Partner with Compliance to ensure vendors meet required social compliance standards.
- Track vendor performance across quality, cost, capacity, delivery, responsiveness and compliance.
- Develop strong vendor relationships while maintaining accountability for agreed standards and timelines.

Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Textile, Garment, Fashion, Design or related field.
- 7–10 years' experience in apparel, bags, soft goods, home textiles or garment manufacturing.
- Strong practical knowledge of stitching, finishing and product construction.
- Ability to read tech packs, measurement charts and construction details.
- Strong Excel, documentation, coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good vendor negotiation and job-work documentation knowledge.
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
- Hindi and English required; Marathi is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly and spend most of the working week at vendor/factory units across Mumbai.

We are looking for someone hands-on, organised, commercially aware and robust at getting things done on the ground.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
