Key Responsibilities

- Prepare structural designs and engineering drawings for steel structures based on project requirements.
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel structures, including industrial buildings, warehouses, sheds, platforms, and other structures.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and technical documents.
- Develop structural models and perform analysis using relevant structural design software.
- Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, connection details, and structural layouts.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP teams, project teams, and fabricators to resolve design-related issues.
- Review design drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes and standards.
- Check structural drawings and identify design or detailing discrepancies.
- Provide technical support to the site and fabrication teams regarding structural design and drawing-related queries.
- Make necessary revisions based on project requirements, site conditions, and client/consultant comments.
- Ensure timely completion of design and drawing deliverables.

Required Software Skills Mandatory:



Hands-on experience in at least ONE of the following:

- STAAD.Pro
- ETABS
- SAFE

Knowledge of AutoCAD is required. Experience with Tekla Structures, Revit, or other structural detailing software will be an added advantage.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and steel structure design.
- Understanding of structural analysis, load calculations, and structural connections.
- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and structural design standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualification B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering

M.Tech in Structural Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience

25 years of relevant experience in steel structure design and detailing.

Candidates with practical experience in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAFE will be preferred.
