Role Description This full-time, on-site Sr.

Embedded Firmware

Engineer role is based in Ahmedabad and focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining embedded firmware for connected electronic products. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting firmware solutions, implementing and testing embedded software on ARM-based platforms, and collaborating with hardware and electrical engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration. The role involves debugging complex system-level issues, optimizing performance and memory usage, and contributing to design reviews and documentation.

The engineer needs to be self driven and motivated to take ownerships of tasks and deliver results independently,



while mentoring junior team members and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong embedded software development skills, including experience with C/C++ and real-time operating systems on microcontrollers and microprocessors.
- Hands-on expertise in debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems using tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and protocol analyzers.
- Proficiency working with ARM architecture, including low-level driver development, peripheral configuration, and performance optimization.
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering concepts, with the ability to interpret schematics and collaborate effectively with hardware design teams.
- Experience with end-to-end firmware lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, integration, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet), IoT stacks, and industrial or automotive standards is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with version control systems (e.g., Git), build systems, and structured documentation practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with several years of experience in embedded firmware development.
- Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in a professional, gender-neutral, and inclusive manner.
