Responsibilities

- Role: ServiceNow Developer

- Experience: 8 to 10 years

- ServiceNow Development ITSM Lead the design, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications and modules.

- Drive end-to-end implementation of ITSM processes including: Incident Management
- Change Management
- Problem Management
- Request Management
- Knowledge Management
- Service Catalog.

- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications using best practices.

- Develop and maintain: Business Rules

- Script Includes
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- UI Actions
- ACLs
- Notifications
- Scheduled Jobs.

- Ensure platform scalability, maintainability, and upgrade readiness.

- Integration Development: Design and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and third-party applications.

- Develop outbound and inbound integrations using: REST APIs

- SOAP Web Services
- Scripted REST APIs
- IntegrationHub
- MID Server
- Webhooks
- Import Sets
- Transform Maps.

- Work with authentication mechanisms including: OAuth 2.0

- Basic Authentication
- Mutual Authentication
- API Key Integrations.

- Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance.





- Automated Testing (ATF): Define and implement enterprise ATF strategy.

- Develop automated regression test suites.

- Create reusable ATF test frameworks.

- Automate testing for: Catalog Items

- Record Producers
- ITSM Workflows
- Integration Scenarios
- Service Portal Components
- Workspace Components.

- Support platform upgrades through automated validation.

- Flow Designer Workflow Automation: Design and build advanced Flow Designer solutions.

- Create reusable Subflows and Actions.

- Develop complex approval workflows.

- Implement event-driven automation and orchestration.

- Optimize existing workflows for performance and maintainability.

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership across ServiceNow development initiatives.

- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards.

- Participate in solution design workshops and architecture discussions.

- Assist in effort estimation, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.

- Collaborate with architects to define platform roadmaps and technical strategies.

- Governance Best Practices: Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices.

- Follow secure coding standards and governance processes.

- Maintain technical documentation and solution designs.

- Support platform upgrades and release management activities.

- Drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
