We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with strong expertise in Retail Banking Operations to lead large-scale teams and drive operational excellence. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in managing large FTE spans, client relationships, service delivery, process improvements, and regulatory compliance within the banking domain

Experience Required

- 10+ years of experience in Retail Banking Operations

- Minimum 8 years in leadership/people management roles

- Experience managing teams with a span of 70-80 FTEs

- Experience in handling process transitions and operational migrations

Mandatory Skills

- Strong Retail Banking Operations experience

- Proven leadership and people management capabilities

- Experience handling client escalations and stakeholder management

- Knowledge of banking regulations, compliance, and industry guidelines

- Lean and Six Sigma Certification

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Knowledge of banking technology and industry trends

- Ability to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams

- Willingness to work from office and align with US business hours

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management





- Manage end-to-end Retail Banking Operations delivery.

- Ensure achievement of operational KPIs and SLA commitments.

- Drive operational excellence through metrics review and root cause analysis.

- Lead process governance and performance review discussions.

Team Management

- Manage a team of Supervisors in a customer-centric environment.

- Oversee workforce planning, productivity, and resource utilization.

- Monitor team performance and recommend training and development initiatives.

- Ensure attrition targets remain within defined limits.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Handle second-level client escalations effectively.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Participate in governance and business review meetings with clients.

- Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Process Improvement

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

- Implement process improvement recommendations and automation opportunities.

- Monitor operational risks and implement corrective actions.

Cross Functional Coordination

- Collaborate with HR, Training, Facilities, IT, and Network teams to ensure seamless operations delivery.

- Support transition activities and stabilization of new processes.
