Spare Management & its Inventory management
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for smooth functioning of all the machineries, pumps and Equipments.
Developing & improving the work process to be used by all the team members.
Ensure that safe and healthy working workplace is maintained as also the health and safety policies & procedures are adhered to.
Plan, devise and Executive preventive maintenance & Calibration schedule so as to minimize / eliminate downtime.
Supervision of Various Sub contractors, if any.
Development of annual preventive maintenance planner.
100% implementation of preventive maintenance planner.
Break down maintenance & CAPA and its implementation.
To execute periodic testing & inspections of Earth pits, Air Vent as per scheduled timeline.
100% Calibration checks as per checklist.
Coordination with statutory and competent agency for testing of Tools, hoists & electrical installations, and relays.
Proposals for procurement of consumables.
Comply with Permit to Work System for non-routine maintenance / high risk activities.
Ensure proper Isolation through deployment of Lock Out Tag out devices.
Trouble shooting related with process and machines / tools / fixtures.
Ensuring hygiene and standards as defined in the cleanroom environment.
Regular training to the manpower related with process & maintenance.
Ensure Proper House Keeping (Using 5 s Principle)
Always ensure the availabilities of vital/Critical spares Machines operations plan as per required productions quantity.
Tracking and analysis of break down hours for critical & standby equipment.
Proposals for procurement of consumables and spares.
Effective Spares Management & its inventory monitoring.
Support in Operations, as and when required.
Apart from the above, to follow responsibilities assigned by Plant Manager.
Job Specifications:
Engineering Degree / Diploma with min. 6-12 years in Petroleum / Petrochemical / Bitumen industry with at least 2 years in similar capacity and should have valid Licence Type “C” authorized by Tamil Nadu Licensing Board, Chennai.
Good Knowledge on Hazardous Waste Management, Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan
Good Knowledge of Plant Equipment and Machinery, ERP Systems and Computers.
Excellent man-management, supervision, and presentation skills.
Versatility in communication / languages, job skills and hands-on approach to the manufacturing processes
