Key Responsibilities-
Communications Strategy & Planning
- Own and continuously evolve the ITES communications strategy in alignment with ITES priorities and enterprise communications standards.
- Develop integrated annual and quarterly communications plans that connect leadership priorities, major initiatives, organizational updates, and key milestones.
- Define audience, message, channel, timing, and cadence for communications so stakeholders receive the right level of information at the right time.
- Translate complex technology, business, and organizational topics into clear narratives that explain what matters, why it matters, and what stakeholders need to know or do.
- Anticipate communications needs and advise leaders on sequencing, stakeholder impact, message risk, and the most effective communications approach.
Executive & Leadership Communications
- Serve as a senior communications advisor to ITES leaders, providing counsel on messaging for high-visibility, sensitive, or complex topics.
- Develop executive communications including key messages, leadership updates, talking points, presentations, announcements, Q&A; materials, town hall content, and follow-through summaries.
- Ensure leadership messages are consistent across functions and geographies while allowing appropriate tailoring for different audiences.
- Support leaders in communicating strategic priorities, decisions, organizational updates, business outcomes, and expectations with clarity and credibility.
- Prepare leaders for major communications moments by identifying likely stakeholder questions, areas of concern, and required follow-up.
Strategic & Enterprise Communications
- Lead communications for major ITES priorities and strategic initiatives, including digital, data, AI, innovation, operational excellence, and capability-building efforts.
- Develop communications that make technical initiatives relevant to the business by connecting them to customer, colleague, operational, financial, or strategic outcomes.
- Coordinate communications across global IT teams and Centers of Excellence to maintain a coherent ITES narrative and reduce conflicting or duplicate messaging.
- Develop communications that recognize accomplishments, reinforce strategic focus areas, and improve visibility of ITES contributions and business value.
Channels, Content & Communications Governance
- Define and maintain communications standards, templates,
editorial guidance, and reusable tools that improve quality and consistency across ITES.
- Manage the integrated communications calendar and coordinate content across channels including email, Teams, intranet, newsletters, town halls, leadership forums, presentations, and other internal channels.
- Establish appropriate review and approval processes for high-impact communications while keeping routine communications efficient and timely.
- Partner with Corporate Communications to align ITES content with enterprise brand, editorial standards, and enterprise-wide channels where applicable.
- Maintain message discipline and content accuracy, challenging unclear, inconsistent, unsupported, or unnecessarily complex communications before release.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communications Enablement
- Build strong working relationships with ITES leadership, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, business partners, functional teams, and subject-matter experts.
- Coach leaders and content owners on audience-focused writing, message clarity, presentation structure, and effective use of communications channels.
- Create practical guidance and self-service resources that allow teams to communicate routine updates consistently without creating unnecessary central dependency.
- Coordinate message timing across stakeholders so major communications are sequenced appropriately and do not compete with or contradict one another.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define practical measures for communications effectiveness, including reach, engagement, understanding, timeliness, and stakeholder feedback.
- Use channel data, stakeholder feedback, and recurring themes to identify communication gaps and improve messaging, formats, cadence, and channel selection.
- Periodically review the effectiveness of the ITES communications approach and recommend changes based on business needs, leadership priorities, and audience behavior.
Experience & Capabilities
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading communications strategy in a complex, global, matrixed organization.
- Exceptional executive writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex information without losing accuracy or intent.
- Strong executive presence and judgment, including the ability to advise senior leaders and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Experience developing multi-channel internal communications and coordinating communications across geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align multiple contributors around a clear narrative and communications plan.
- Ability to move comfortably between strategy and execution, from shaping the communications approach to personally developing high-priority content.
- Solid business acumen and the ability to connect technology and organizational priorities to business-relevant outcomes.
- Experience working in a regulated, life sciences, healthcare, technology, or similarly complex environment is preferred.

- ITES priorities, decisions, and strategic initiatives are communicated clearly, consistently, and at the appropriate time.
- Leadership communications are concise, aligned, audience-appropriate, and ready for use with minimal rework.
- Stakeholders demonstrate improved understanding of key ITES priorities, initiatives, and business outcomes.
- Communications channels are used intentionally, with measurable reach and engagement and reduced duplication of messages.
- High-impact communications are anticipated and planned rather than developed reactively.
- Leadership and stakeholder feedback indicates that ITES communications are credible, useful, and business-relevant.
