We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior US Payroll Analyst/Specialist to own end-to-end semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll operations for our US-based workforce. You will ensure accurate gross-to-net calculations, handling unions, manage multi-state tax withholdings, and drive compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical expertise in modern payroll platforms, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to data confidentiality.
Manage end-to-end bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly US payroll cycles for exempt and non-exempt employees.
Hands on experience on payroll service centre operations.
Review and approve timecards, overtime calculations, bonuses, commissions, and severance payouts.
Process complex payroll adjustments, including stock transactions, equity compensation events, and fringe benefits.
Administer involuntary and voluntary deductions such as garnishments, tax levies, 401(k) contributions, and insurance premiums.
Process data entry for multi-state payroll under strict deadlines while ensuring all entries and system outputs are in compliance with all state and federal laws.
Review payroll inputs from various internal sources, to ensure accurate payroll processing for multiple payrolls.
Work with HR team to aggregate employee data relating to new hires, terminations & bonus payments during each pay period in order to accurately process payroll for that period.
Determine root cause of payroll errors by collecting and analysing information under strict deadlines.
Manage unions and their queries related to deduction, 401K, reports and escalations.
Analyse and process off-cycle pay, special payments, adjustments and reversals.
Calculate, process, and record overpayment repayments.
Manage Garnishments, refunds, invoicing and related queries.
Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure documentation which is under the care of the manager.
#Qualifications for senior payroll analyst : -
Bachelors degree in commerce of finance.
Minimum of 5+ years of business experience of managing end to end US payroll.
Action oriented / initiative approach to work.
Ability to communicate and interact well with different teams, business partners and colleagues.
Willingness and ability to work in a team, under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of ADP Global View is mandatory.
Ability to work under demanding environment and flexibility towards business requirement.
