George Maijo Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Spare Parts In-Charge to manage the spare parts operations at our Thodupuzha branch.

The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of relevant experience in automobile spare parts operations, with Maruti Suzuki dealership experience being mandatory. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, parts procurement, stock control, team supervision, and ensuring the timely availability of spare parts for service and body shop operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the spare parts department.
- Supervise and coordinate the spare parts team.
- Ensure timely availability of parts for the Service and Body Shop departments.
- Manage parts ordering, receiving, issuing, and inventory control.
- Maintain optimum stock levels and avoid overstocking or stock shortages.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving parts.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Maruti Suzuki and authorized suppliers for parts procurement.
- Ensure proper storage, identification, and handling of spare parts.
- Monitor parts sales, inventory turnover, and department performance.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly parts reports.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Accounts team.
- Ensure accurate documentation and system updates for all parts transactions.
- Handle parts-related customer and internal department queries.




- Monitor warranty and returned parts processes where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with company and Maruti Suzuki spare parts procedures and standards.
- Train, guide, and monitor the performance of spare parts staff.

Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Automobile, Mechanical, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in automobile spare parts operations.
- Maruti Suzuki dealership experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of Maruti Suzuki spare parts and dealership parts operations.
- Valuable understanding of inventory management and stock control.
- Experience with dealership management/parts management software preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good communication and team-management abilities.
- Ability to manage inventory accurately and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
