Role Description The SOX SOC Controls Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for performing control testing over SOX and SOC processes, documenting findings, and supporting remediation activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The analyst will review process documentation, assess control design and operating effectiveness, and maintain evidence repositories aligned with compliance and audit standards.

Day-to-day work includes supporting internal and external audits, preparing reports and status updates, tracking issues to closure, and contributing to process improvements and risk mitigation initiatives.



The role also involves partnering with business and IT stakeholders to promote a strong control environment and consistent adherence to regulatory and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

- Robust knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) and SOC (Service Organization Controls) frameworks, internal controls, and risk management practices.
- Experience with control testing, audit procedures, walkthroughs, and preparation of workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Ability to analyze processes, identify control gaps, and support remediation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, documentation tools, and basic data analysis to track testing results and control performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA, CISA) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in audit, compliance, shared services, or offshoring environments is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Hyderabad and adapt to evolving business and regulatory requirements.
